Shot Reverse Shot

The shot reverse shot is a film technique where one character is show looking at another character from over the shoulder. This is often used in conversation, to see reactions and to establish the relationship through the characters. The two sources at the bottom of this post, on the right, is what not to do as it will make it seem you are talking to yourself and thats not what you want.
